Use of Emoticons
Gooday Kiddies.
I notice that there are some pretty severe posts creeping into the forums.
I am pretty quick at picking up whether they are sarcastic, tongue in cheek or just plain vindictive or nasty. unfortunately some people (particularly new members) have no idea of the humour or psyche of the person posting them. For some others this is their initiation into the world of Bulletin Boards and have no idea what emoticons are used for.
To these people I say do a bit of a read about emoticons and forum ettiquette. It will make my job easier and others reading more pleasurable.
On another note. If you can't find your post it has probably been moved to "open slather".

If at first you don't succeed, give something else a go. Life is far too short to waste time trying.

Emoticons ? .... Who made that up ! That AN'T in the dictionary
And, I take offense to being called a ..'kiddie', . I think you should refrain from such outlandish vocab. There a plenty of new members out there who don't understand your humour and psyche.....mmmmmm....
( ......... ..better wink after saying something like that)

I'd like to see a more selective use of smileys  Some people use one on every sentence as though it was a full stop It's too much and all those little images are chewing up my bandwidth Please, before you insert a smiley, think about whether or not it really adds anything to your message Think about whether it is appropriate to your intended tone  And don't use 10 smileys where one would do
