encouragement for women woodies is coming
Sitting back relaxing and having a yarn with the other "good" half ...and she was having a yarn with her girlfriend stateside.....who told her this good news ......
soon to arrive in aussie is a range of tools designed for ...wait for it .......women ......yep .......thats right .....specially designed for women .......pink cordless power drills, planers, saws, etc .....lighter handtools like hammers ....smaller screwdrivers ...( well most womens hands are kinda dainty)......so I said to the love of me life ....so this means that finally you will be keeping your grubby little hands of my stuff huh?.....well of course darling she replied ....you would'nt be caught dead using "my stuff" now would you.....being pink and all.........
when I went out to "my" shed and added up the cost of replacement of most items ......in pink ......a cold draught ran down my back ...... pink is NOT gonna work in the workshop.....so right now .....before it gets outta hand .......the foot is going down

I bought myself quite a nice screwdriver with flowers all over the handle, thinking it might mean it stays in MY toolbox. All at did is now he can find it quicker. I guess if ALL the tools were flowery it would slow him down a bit.

Probably a woman
I remember a sports stadium I designed for a high school a long time back. I employed an architect to finish the detail and manage its construction. I went back some time after it was finished to find it various shades of bright pink. I know my taste in colours is not necessarily perfect, after all a lot of people like pink and it was a mixed school, so I asked him who ultimately picked the colours - he admitted it was his wife.Neil____________________________________________Every day presents an opportunity to learn something new

haha that would not stop my husband one bit. I know I had pink tools and he found them brighter to see and at work no one would pinch his tools because they were pink. HAHA he one of those people it colour does not faze him one bit so much as I was given a flowery hammer with guarantee that man won't take. Well i neve had it for more than an hour before he had a need. LOL

Maybe its not women they are marketing to. Could be the "Pink Dollar" that some talk of. Although I do sometimes catch myself wishing that tool boxes came in more interesting colours. Had to settle for a yellow one. But I don't think pink would be my choice. Purple perhaps.
