Epic price drop at Carbatec!
Hey guys,
fyi if you haven't noticed it already, Carbatec have droped their prices on Kreg and Incra gear to reflect the current exchange rate. There has been some substantial price drops ranging up to 30ish%, to the point where it is about line priced with overseas vendors once freight is factored in
Cheers,
Ben

Is it only Kreg and Incra products that are affected? Or are there other products that have been discounted?

Definitely kreg and incra, probably magswitch too. Carbatec don't bring these brands in themselves, they buy from Maxis Tools, the Australian importer of said brands. They have dropped their prices and Carbatec have flowed them on. Would be nice to see some machinery price drops, not holding my breath though...

Bah, looks like my morning coffee hadn't taken effect when I typed the first post. Can a mod address my spelling in the title? Cheers.

Their Triton gear is on sale ATM too. Wonder if it's because of slow sales ?

Yes, personally,
I too have found Carbatec in general to be on the upper end of pricing for most items,
so an across the board price reduction might help there patronage;
ie: good turn over with lots of sales rather than what was!!

There is reasoning behind the Triton sale (I'm good at squeezing info out of people )... wether or not I am allowed to relay that info here or not I'm not sure, but either way I can't be arsed typing it all out! What I can safely say though is that if you are thinking about getting some Triton gear, now would be a good time as these prices won't come around again any time soon.Last edited by Groggy; 3rd February 2011 at 07:01 PM. Isn't Maxis Tools just a Carba-Tec owned entity?
That's a good question.There ain't no devil, it's just god when he's drunk!!
