Yup - they've mixed up pictures of the 5 and 700.
The ad is for the previous model number 700. New one is 576429. I don't know if there's any real difference, apart from the new gen systainer. So likely to be old stock/display models.
I've bought a fe$tool or two as ex-display from TT, and they've all been fine. Full warranty etc.
They've got the old model cordless saw (TSC 55) with a couple of hundred off too. There are a few significant differences between that one and the new model though (thinner kerf blade, electronic anti-kickback)
Not long by all accounts – this thread would have tipped them off. :;
- That varies from state to state. The last time I checked you had to be "competent" in NSW and some other states, and from memory it was not allowed in WA. AFAIK, "Competent" means you have been shown how to do this extraordinarily simple task. Maybe this has changed – I don't know, and it should be checked out before proceeding.
