Vek Tools, great guys to deal with, have purchased various Festool gear from them. The Kapex day should be interesting.

Now there's a first, Festool giving something away

You sure its not an optional extra?

Should be good if I can find the time on Friday.

BTW - Thanks for reserving the Kapex for me.

Oh my, I'm starting to sound like someone else I know.......

Suppose I better not criticise this blatant example of the commercialisation of this forum, least I be sanctioned again!

Maybe through the email facility of this BB, similar to sending a pm to those in the target area.

The only people to get emails sent to them from the forums are those who specifically said they wanted to receive them. even then the email is blind so the address cannot be seen by the sender and the receiver is notified that the email is sent from Woodwork Forums email service.

I can assure you that no Admin or Mod will ever give out an email address or any other member information without the express permission from the member.

We have on a number of occasions had people try to contact members and in every case we have taken their contact information and handed it on to the member rather than disclose member information which we regard as highly confidential and keep in the strictest confidence.

We also have delays of a few minutes before a person can send a second and subsequent emails or message which virtually eliminates the ability (of anyone who wants to stay sane) to spam members.

    Cheers - Neil

Thanks for the clarification Neil. Often wondered about the email facility.

    Default Neil...

Nah - I wasn't suggesting that the forum gave out my email...
I'm aware of protocols etc - and I have every faith in the forum and its operators and mods...
I was addressing the question to VEK...
Maybe shouldn't have used a public forum to ask them a question.
Sorry for any upsets caused to you, the forum and mods.

As every good business we certainly have the resources to expand nation wide but unfortunately finding the right workers is the biggest drama to maintain a high level of service, we do service aus wide thru our website if you require anything.....www.vektools.com.au

ps. if you know of any good workers in Queensland or aus get them to get in contact with us...as the saying goes 'good workers are hard to find'
