Default Festool Kapex ks120 sliding compound saw stock has landed @ VEK tools

    hi all,

just a quickie for all you Kapex freaks that have placed orders with us we have just recieved our first batch of Kapex sliding compound saws. As most of the Kapex saws are already sold we only have a few left over. Second batch is approximately another two-three weeks away. We are taking $100 deposits to secure stock of batch no.2. Rumour also has it that there will be stock issues for the Kapex's even up till July'2008!!

For us as a tool store that sells all the best brands like Metabo, Milwaukee, AEG, Hitachi, Protool, Fein & Festool we have never ever seen such a dramatic response to a product.

With two more new products still to be launched it looks like Festool will be making a huge impact in the future & shaking up the tool industry

If we get any further information we will forward it on.

    cheers

    Team VEK TOOLS

It's all fun until someone gets poked in the eye with a pointed post.....

20008? You wouldn't be exaggerating, just a little bit?

My Festool dealer told me it was April/May the next shipment was due, and here in Vic current stocks are expected to go by Xmass. Pre orders have been huge with one tool chain here ordering 48 (on the MCG night, and half those were pre orders) Aparently they wanted more but limits were set.

[But he may have had his facts wrong as he was more interested with the tour of the "G" than meeting the Kapex, so his brain was a little muddled ]

It's almost as if there is a market out there for quality tools, go figure.

Well it only took 10 minutes at the show to figure out this purchase. Some might say I had my doubts

Can't help but think that all this stock availability is based on marketing. A bit like Sony, Nintendo and XBox do with new releases. The unavailability creates hype in itself.

I don't know, don't care, just got to go and open up the box when I get some time.

Nothing better than getting it home and unpacking and pluging it in for the first play. I was unpacking the Domino in the car as i was driving home i was so excited

Unfortunatly i have to pay for my new belt sander before i can even think of the Kapex

And nothing worse than having it sitting there waiting to be opened. You gotta love new toys. I couldn't fit the Kapex on the front seat and just slip it out of it's box

Know how you feel, I have a list of tools I want to buy. Just hope that I actually use them all some day. Gotta finish this bloody shed.

Does anyone know what the other two Festool products are that are still going to be launched this year?I've heard that one could be a proper drywall sander.

It shore is.... & just like the Kapex it is jam packed with features & looks like its going t have similar impact to what the Kapex saw did..(but then again don't most festool tools this kind of effect??)...

the other hint i can give you for the other product is it spins

ps. if anyone knows of any good workers we need you to get them to send us there resumes asap

    regards,
