Carl, my screen resolution is set to 1400x1050 and this is how the front page looks on my screen (notebook). I am using Firefox and would echo Neils' advice to install Firefox. I did a couple of years ago and absolutely love it. Can't remember the last time I've seen a pop-up, inbuilt spell checker, too many other features to mention. And most importantly it isn't Mickeysoft and it works

    Hi there

I use 1280 x 1024 and the front page basically takes up my whole screen. If a user was browsing with 1024 x 728 or below, I wouldn't be surprised if they had horizontal scroll bars.

I've checked a few other pages and they all seem to scale down without any problems, there is def a problem with the homepage.

    regards

Steven, just tried 1280x1024 on my screen, this is how it looks, doesn't fill my whole screen (15" notebook)

    Edit:

Tried 1024x768, fills whole screen as in second picture.

Carl, don't forget you can narrow the forum screen by clicking and dragging the side and or bottom edges and the page will readjust itself to that size.

    Hi there

When you use firefox the homepage is viewable right down to 800 x 600, its only idiots like me who use IE7 that are having problems. damn closet door just opened!

IE or not, it should work right? we'll fix it

    regards

When I logged in today I had some 'interesting' issues with the screen appearance - I'm using Firefox 2.x - but it cleared up after a minute or so. I suspect that it is related to caching & a pause will give Firefox time to overwrite the previous versions of the fixed graphics in the cache with the new version.

I'll just have to see what happens tomorrow.

Neil/Steve, is there a quicker way to get to social groups? Currently I go through User CP/SocialGroups/ then select the group I want.

Apart from that, the new look looks good. Still easy to use

Pat you can go directly to Social Groups via the Quick Links Dropdown box on the toolbar at the top of each page

I s'pose the new features are for the better...

...but now I have to log in every time I want to see what's what and that means I lose all my last read pointers if I don't have the time to spend going through everything.

Given the reasons behind the upgrade, I guess the feature that I really, really want is a "logout without clearing last-read pointers" button!
I may be weird, but I'm saving up to become eccentric.

Give it time Skew we might even have that coming up. I'm searching for add-ons and hacks for that and some other nifty tricks but could take a little while as I'm not getting a lot of time at the moment.

Cheers - Neil But I can make the iSpy available to non logged in members if that'll help and if it isn't already available. Have to log out some time and have a look.

    Cheers
