Good thing I didn't build that bark humpy for a shed afterall

Damm!! I knew I forgot something - sigh, forgot to get some dry firewood in!! THe pile out the back is still very wet! And don't even think of suggesting I shoud use my secret stash!!!!!

Autumn weather my &*^%& It was warm this week up until Thursday. It's the sudden drop and about 10-15 degrees difference that gets me. brrrrrrrr

But it's warm in my shed, especially right next to the roller door when the sun shines on it

The BOM's forecast for today is:
    TOOWOOMBA
Dry. Cold with gusty SW to W'ly winds.
    MIN 2 MAX 10

    HAHAHAHAHAHA

Here's what it really is at present

So is the day on or off?

It's too early to tell at present, so I suppose it will have to stay on and we brave the elements, considering the number of people travelling from everywhere.

If you do read this before travelling, please take it easy coming up the range in the fog.

I'd better go and get that soup ready

    cheers
    Wendy

In that ol Ausy tradition, she'll be right. We can always have a hand sawing compitition to warm up

Last chance for any Gold Coasters, I'm leaving in 0.5 hour, just have to wait for the muffins to cool a bit

Wendy, I thought that HWMBO's shed was for the BBQ and the rest of you would congregate in your new shed. Have a good day.

Another good way to warm up is to spilt logs and plane them down to size

Good one Pat, :, especially as there's less room in his shed than mine at present :

Hmm, I recently got another 3 saws. A trial of these would indeed be warming.

Anyone else need directions, just ring me and I'll pm them to you.

    cheers

Wendy, My wife tells me that it is veeery cold there today, but I see it will warm to 12deg so you will be warmer than yeaterday,

Well at least you don't live in Newcastle where it's cold and wet and in some places no power to keep warm. And to those that start bitching about and give you $h%# about the cold just remind them that they might be cold BUT they are dry!!!!!!

I can smell the soup from here delish.
    Have a great GTG

That's pretty much the same as my view every morning here, probably Robs (woodborer) as well. Means it's going to be a nice mild day , it's only when you can't see the shed that you have to worry about it being really cold

Nice and sunny here, no fog but we have had a few frosts in the last week but they turn out to be great days - Go for it Wendy, people will judge the day by the company and the food, not the weather.

DJ & WoodBorer - I reckon we could have compared our weather with yours today - brrrrrrrrrrrrrrr. The company definitely made up for it.
