    Hi,
I was looking at how the shade of green was changing depending on how high up it was on my screen, as the two pictures looked like different shades when on the screen together and I did not register it was green and mine is black and gold.
    Talk about a senior's moment!
    Regards
    Hugh

    Christos......either

    a) Use another Camera for your pics......

    or

    b) Turn off your Disco lights when you are taking the pics........

I have taken more photos and all of them came in green. I think my camera is having a bit of trouble.

    Christos,

I showed your pic to my wife...an accomplished photographer and her educated guess is that the pic was taken under a fluorescent light and you would have to get your camera shutter speed down to below 1/25 sec to compensate for the "strobing" of the fluro or up the ISO BUT she believes that you try and take the pic in natural light and see how they come out.

    Cheers

set the white balance on your camera to the type of light you're taking the photo under
also digitals tend to have difficulty taking black objects (or white for that matter)
if you don't know how to play with the white balance - ring me

I took this photo with an Olympus 850?? I put it on Auto, normal photo position and took the photo. When I said that I will take another photo I tried it with low light setting then with the lights switched off, then ones with the flash. I have tried taking photos of the wall, floor, kitchen kept giving me streaks across the field. That's why I was thinking that this camera has a problem. I have put it aside for the moment while I deal with other things. Will take another look and may start another thread on possible cause.
