Gabbett Open Day (Sydney)
At this years’ Timber & Working With Wood show, Gabbett Machinery will be demonstrating the new SawStop machine.
For those unaware, SawStop is a 10” cabinet saw, with a unique safety feature that senses human contact with the sawblade. Once contact has been detected, the blade is stopped and dropped below the table bed, all within five milliseconds.
Demonstrations of a this machine tend to draw large crowds. Recent exhibitions have seen over fifty people assembled to see the SawStop in action. Unfortunately, a lot of them cannot get a clear line of sight to the saw.
Which is why, this year, we have decided to have a special Pre-show Exhibition in our Sydney showroom!
Our showroom offers a bit more space than a 4m x 3m booth at the wood show, so everyone should be able to see the demo. The extra space also makes it possible for us to demonstrate the MiniMax machines. A wide spread of MiniMax products will be set up and available for you to play with. MiniMax machines will not be going to the wood show!
There will be some red-hot pricing on some ex-demo machines too.
The Pre-show Exhibition will be held on Saturday the 24th of May, from 9am until 4pm. Our showroom is at 359 Vardys Rd, Kings Park.
Fire away with any questions.
