Gary Pye offers to host members gathering
I've just been down to visit Gary Pye & he has confirmed that he would like to host a gathering of BB members in the next 4 to 6 weeks.
Demonstrations of turning & other stuff and a barby are envisiaged.
Garry has to check his dates as he has various traveling commitments.
I will be speaking with him in due course & will let the members know times & places.
Garry's shop is at Curumbin so those with a surfing or swimming bent could get some real value out of the trip.
The new motorway exit is fantastic, straight of the exit round a couple of corners & you are there.
Details will follow in due course.
Please express your interest here.

Not intending to start a competition midge.
Two parties are better than one
BTW gary sends his greetings.
He made the connection between the online midge & the actual one at the show.

Either way, sounds good to me and close by. I'm a regular at Gary's shop and will look forward to it.
By the way, for anyone worried about travelling from distant places and the long drive home (especially after a few by the BBQ), your welcome to stay at my place. I have a couple of spare single beds and also some blow up matresses if I have a lot of takers. I even have an eight seater van so can provide transport from my place if needed.

I'd love to catch up. If it's at Gary Pye's sometime between June 14 and July 2 it's 99% certain that I'd make it. Less certain for Midges place due to distances and not being able to leave sick wife for too long. Please, please, pretty please Gary, can you make it between these dates?

If you find a post of mine that is missing a pic that you'd like to see, let me know & I'll see if I can find a copy.

I'm in - whenever - justabout where ever. Sunshine Coast and Curumbim are both great to visit when coming from Toowoomba.
So, there will be a car from Toowoomba to Curumbin if anyone wants a lift.
have to say 80% for the exceptional circumstances that do, occaisionally, occur.
