Got it sussed now.... after the forum upgrade, your date of birth is hidden so we don't know when your birthday is.

So what happens now is this:
When it's your birthday a notice comes up at the top of the forums that looks something like this and stays there annoying you for the entire day and at the top of every page.
HAPPY BIRTHDAY Cliff Rogers.
