    Default GMC Circ Saw $33.50

    Gday all, just a headsup.

The GMC Circ saw that bunnings normally have for $38 is on sale at $33.50 until Sun night 4/9.

As well, apparently GMC couldn't supply the normal 1200W saw to some stores so supplied a better 1600W version at the same price, looks better quality saw as well.

Not sure if all stores were supplied the higher wattage unit, I got one at cranbourne store yesterday and they had heaps left.

Could be worth ringing ahead if making a special trip.

    HTH someone...............cheers...............Sean

    Lucky me.

Bummies is just down the road, so of course, I have to go and check this out don't I ?

In amongst the large stack of 1250W saws for $33.50, I spotted a couple of the 1600W versions (nicely concealed at the back). I checked the price and sure enough, they are the same. The guy thought I was pretty smart picking up the difference. I didn't want to tell him I had inside knowledge

The 1600W comes with 3 blades and a carry case. It's a run out model. I needed a new blade for my old Skill 7 1/4 and that alone was $18 for a cheap Irwin. So now, I have a new blade for the Skill, a spare for the GMC and a new saw.

As they say in the pancake parlour......lovely

Thanks for the heads up scooter

(Scoresby store has about 3 left as at 11am)

I've got 2 Bunnies pretty close - one didn't have any at all and the other only had the 1275W ones. Safe to say I didn't get one either

Out the door I went straight after reading this thread!

Back now and its another good news effort

Stopped off at my local Bunnings whom were out of stock and advised all Sydney branches were out also.

Some say Im suspicious - I say thank goodness cause I really didnt believe the fella better suited to a 7/11 working the local Tool Store:eek:

Off to Auburn I raced- to my surprise they had the 1250WT on special for $68 hmmm I thought.

Enquired at the tool store and had them ring my local to confirm sale price.
Turns out they werent running the special so had at least 15 or so in stock.

Picked up two what the heck!

Thanks for the tip, i managed to get one 1600W this afternoon.
1600W model was all they had at Moorabin (Warrigal Road) and they had plenty left. On the other hand the South Oakleigh shop had none left of any sort.

Default i got one, i got one!!!!!

hi , after saturdays dissappointing run into bunnies i went back today and they had a whole bloody pallet of them, sitting right out the fronmt with a sign on them saying $33.53. well i grabbed it and took it to the register and they tried to charge me $38 for it. i soon put them straight. so anyone who missed out should go back for another look, i strongly suspectthat these ones were in the stock room all the time and not brought out till all the 1250 watt ones had gone.
