Sounds similar to mine, except the drivers and passengers doors almost open on mine.

I think I will pass on that one please Dave, but I am looking for a "cheapie" up to maybe $5000 to get me round for a year or so while I save up to avoid taking out a loan. We had started saving for the next one but needed probably another 18 months out of it to get the replacement we wanted.

    Cheers

    Default The Saws.

    Hi Matt, Sally,
Things are looking really good. Thanks about the M/W, could not do without it. Ha Ha.
I did ask about cleaning Saws, so what is the way most of you do it.
What do I need to bring.
    Regards,
    issatree.

I agree with what Pac-man has mention about cleaning up the saw before sharpening.

That's a bit of a bugger. Hope you weren't hurt. You will have quite a job transferring all that good gear you have in the back into a new ute. Did the ute have air bags? I have seen a fair few instances where the air bags have done a bit of damage to the driver, but far better than having major damage to the torso without these life savers.

Hope you get back on the road without too many dramas.

That is a good point, I'll pack some hand cleaner. One of the ones from Aldi, I have two tubes, one purchased from Aldi in Germany, the other from Aldi in Australia. They work a treat, seems to clean most of the gunk off of ones hands without removing the skin as a bonus.

With regard to saw files, it would seem that ordering for ourselves to suit our individual saws will be the go. I'll probably order on Monday, or Tuesday at the latest.

With regard to food, we'll be pretty much self catering, our slide-on camper is completely self contained.

    Thanks for your concern Al

nobody was hurt in the accident, we did not hit hard enough to set the airbags off, but the car crumpled as they are supposed to so it will probably be written off. I would never be able to find a car like that one again - too many extras that were built in when it was new.

We were hoping to get another 18 months to 2 years out of the old one so we could save so as not to get a loan.

We put down a deposit on a $4000 ute today, another rodeo. No where near the extras and probably not able to transfer a lot of stuff as it is an earlier model with a different body shape. The upside is it runs off dual fuel so it should be a lot cheaper to run. Hopefully we can get a couple of years out of it then get something nice.

Fingers crossed it will work out. I should be picking it up on Tuesday

    Cheers

    Doug
