Hands-on workshop with master artisan - Alan Williams
Alan Williams is undeniably Australia's best creator of magnificent, sculptural bansawn boxes.
We have managed to secure Alan to hold a 2 day, hands on workshop at Artisans Retreat on February 28th & 29th 2012.
This is in the week following the Artisans Expo which runs from Friday 24th to Sunday 26th February 2012.
There will only be 6 lucky attendees for this rare opportunity to participate in Alan's workshop (2 places are already taken, so only 4 spots left)
For those unfamilar with Alans work, I have included a pic or 2. His work is in the top wood galleries (Bungendore, Leura, Artisans Retreat)
Feel free to call me if you are interested in this workshop.
Cheers
Peter

I have no hesitation in recommending Alan's training days to anyone interested in making bandsawn boxes - he is a good communicator and a great craftsman.

Thanks for the testimonial Tony - glad it is not just me who is convinced it will be an awesome couple of days.
You are right Jim - they will be the "lucky" six!
John, I know it is a trek from down there - we do not get down to see family as often as we would like. Having said that, cheap flights to Sydney then only a 3 1/2 hour drive to our door! Many have said the view from our place is very much like Burnie/Devonport area.
