If there is to be a service for Steve I would like to see some sort of woodworking remembrance.
Maybe a display of hand planes, or forum caps.
It has to be fitting to the occasion.
Any ideas?

I think he'd have appreciated some mates simply turning up to pay their respects, quiet like. Some flowers and some thoughts left would be appreciated by him I'm sure.

A little bit of news about Steve in the EMAIL from my cousin:
This afternoon I got a phone call from Paul Jensen, of Jensen's Funeral Director's, to let us know that the Public trustee have contacted his company about the death of Steve Bisson.
The funeral date has yet to be set, as enquiries as to identity, etc are still pending.
Paul advises he will continue to keep in touch, and will let us know what's happening from here.
He also requested that you again ask your mates if anything more has come to mind about Steve, as he remains a mystery man.- Wood Borer

Sorry I know I'm ranting, but I believe that Steve should have been laid to rest by now, and they could sort out the paperwork at a later date.
I appologise if I've upset anybody.

Message from my cousin.
The undertaker rang today to let us know that Steve Bisson's funeral will be at Springvale Crematorium, probably next week. We should know for sure late today or tomorrow. At the moment they are trying to find out if he had any religious affiliations, so that a suitable clergyman can be got.
Did any of you attend any religious functions with Steve?
Apart from Woodwork functions.- Wood Borer

Regretably Tuesday is the one day of the week that I cannot attend as I am away, is there a proposed memorial service at a later date that can be attended does anyone know?

Look like the next GTG in Vic is at Noels, so bring your asbestos lined stomach for the toast.

I may be able to get to the hotel afterwards for a short while as we have a training session after I get back from work at about 3.00pm, the training session is at 3.30 but in the words of the FNQ wise one, coudn't give a rats ring, I had a lot of time for Steve and work can get stuffed, I am sure Steve would approve.
