Help at Brisbane wood show
Gooday Reader, I hope your going great.
I've left this a bit late, (mum said I'd be late for my own funeral)...but later on...she said I wouldn't have time to die....but better late than never....I don't think it's the woodworking, but I think it slows you down a little, mellows you out a bit too...or is this just the half a stubby of coopers mid strength catching up...
anyway..
Is there any one who could or knows someone who might be able to help me set up and possibly help run our stand (Billinudgel woodwork's) at the Brisbane woodworking show 2014 ?
The work isn't hard or demanding, a sense of humor goes a long way and the ability to read & write a must..(Australian , not necessarily Queen's English).
The set up is from 8 am on Thursday 15th till about 6pm and Friday 10 till 5pm, sat 10 till 5 and Sunday 10 till about 8pm, Monday 8am till 11 am ish.
I don't have a lot of spare money, but can pay some cash and I will have a fair bit of timber that I can be generous with...
past helpers have confessed that helping at our display improved their vision, some started regrowing hair, others have secretly confessed that it helped their love life..but all of them except 1 absolutely loved the experience and comradeship...I need a few people, please let me know if you can help....
Thanks & regards...

Having helped out at the Melb show a few times I can attest to the claims made by Stan " improved their vision, some started regrowing hair, others have secretly confessed that it helped their love life..."
Seriously it makes for a great couple of days and as a nice bonus the timber is terrific.
Good luck Stan
Hooroo DennisSome people are like slinkies - not really good for anything, but they
bring a smile to your face when pushed down the stairs .
