Kyneton Lost Trades Fair
Hi to you all,
My apologies, for the lateness.
This coming weekend, Sat. 12th. - Sun. 13th. March, 2016, @ the Kyneton Race Course Vic.
To go you have to buy your Ticket online & they are $15, as there are only 1000 Tickets at the gate, & you could easily miss out after a good drive to get there.
losttradesfair.com or rundle&rundle.com
I think that is right.
Drive right into the Course as there was plenty of Free Parking last year. Same again I hope.
There were 84 Exhibitors last year but I'm lead to believe there will be more this year.
Last year there was only 1 Coffee Shop & 3 Eateries. Promises to be more this time.
I will be working on the HTPAA Tent, but will be taking some food & drink with me.
I met 2 chaps from QLD, & 2 Chaps from Sydney. So they come from all over.
I will endeavour to wear my ID Forums Tag, so please say Hello.Regards,
issatree.
Have Lathe, Wood Travel.

We are heading up there on the Saturday. We bought our tickets weeks ago now.
We went last year and it was a great day. A bit difficult getting a drink and something to eat but they say this will be better this year.
I think they underestimated the popularity of the event last year, so they were sort of victims of their own success.
Looking forward to a great day out with the family.
Cheers

I went last year and it was a great day. As Doug said they were victims of their own success re drinks and food.
Too much on this weekend as I intend going to the Steamrail Open day at Newport where there will be several locos in steam.

I went to this last year also. Was a great event with many different things to see. I found myself watching the blacksmiths smashing and bashing railway spikes into all sorts of neat ornaments.
Get there early though, I went on the Saturday very late morning and parking inside the racecourse was full along with any and all streets within koo-wee of the racecourse. So I drove back home and went on Sunday much earlier (10am'ish) and got a great parking spot in the racecourse under the trees

Car is packed and alarms are set, heading to the Lost Trades fair with the family tomorrow, hoping to be there when it opens.
Hopefully I can post a report tomorrow evening so that people can decide whether to head up on Sunday, maybe a few pictures if I remember to take any.
Cheers

Lost Trades Fair Vic.
Well Hi There,
Watched George Smithwick at The Lost Trades Fair, Kyneton Vic. today.
He had a Saw Sharpening blade holder for sale.
He was looking for $80, & in good nick, but wanted a bit of TLC.
It was sitting on a box that was full of Tools.
Didn't ask what the cost was.
What a great show, so go for a drive Sun. & have a look. You may have to be early as I think they may still have tickets to buy at the gate, I don't think there wood be many.
Hey, No E/ Wasps this year. Plenty of Food & Coffee.
I had an Absolute Ball.Regards,
issatree.
