For the lovers of Australiana
Woodworkforums is rather valuable with the exceptional threads and content it contains. I consider them as rare opportunities for local Australians to discover what’s available in this most fascinating of topics, woodcraft.
I have come across an Australian company called Colonial Living, specialising in Australian Colonial Furniture. They are located in Drummoyne, Sydney.
You can find them at this web address http://www.colonialliving.com.au
I have found their homepage containing fine product images displaying superb examples of craftsmanship, replicating once great pieces handcrafted originally by great Australian craftsmen such as Joseph Sly, Andrew Lenehan and James Whitesides. And also a lot of historical background information on many of the individual pieces.
I hope the above suggestion is of good use to other wood-crafting aficionados.
And keep up the good work woodworkforums, as your site is an insightful resource for many of us out there.
