    Default Meet And Greet

    Hi all,

I'm hosting a meet and greet at "D.I.Y. WOODWORKS" on Saturday 30th September, about 11:30 to 12:00. Hope to get Brendan from Felder to come along and bring a new Band Saw to demo. Like to meet as many of you wood nuts as possible. If anyone has anything new to show and tell, please bring it. Please reply if you can make it.
    Address is:

    "D.I.Y. WOODWORKS
    Unit 16 / 3 Hamley Road
    Mt. Kuring-Gai.
    PH; 9457 6690"

N.B. You can go up the old Pacific Hwy from Hornsby and turn off at Beaumont Road, OR, take the F3 north and get off at the Berowra Exit, turn left until you see Beaumont Road. Hamley is the first right along Beaumont.

I have to go to a wedding that day. I don't know what time the kickoff is though so I might be able to make it.

I'll find out and let you know.

    Cheers
    Craig

I'll be there. Looking forward to seeing your shop, and a Felder bandsaw demo.

    Default Time

    Stirlo,

11:30 to 12:00 is only the arrival time. Its for those blokes that don't wake up early on Saturdays. Regarding the age thing. You would have to be 18 to operate the table saw or the bandsaw, but you can still learn a lot by watching.
    How old are you anyway?

I'll be there, but may only be a few minutes depending on which ground we're on that Sat.

Well the wedding is at 2.30 on the other side of Sydney (Westmead) so I'm not going to be able to make it unfortunately.

    Yep. I'll definitely be there.
I'll be bringing along the Hammer N4400 bandsaw, as well as a Hammer A3-31 Planer/Thicknesser. All welcome to have a go and chuck timber through them. No nails!!

Mt Kuring-gai to Westmead - that's only about half an hour on a weekend! See you there at 11.00, nancy-boy

You talking about a grand final? I think you'll find that's on the next day up here.

Yes but I have to go back to Chatswood, get dressed and pick up the missus too.

I don't think the missus would fancy hanging out with a bunch of blokes drooling over machinery.

Besides, she'll need every available minute for getting ready.
