Mate, it's a short notice deal so I am not expecting an mcg 70,000 strong crowd or anything. The 'shed door is open' policy is basically all I'm going for and that sounds like the perfect way to describe one of our gatherings. .... sounds friendly that way i reckon (and we are all friendly)...
I've had about 6 positive responses so far, bUT the window is always open for more....even if it's a 30 min stop over to say hi.....
Don't be afraid melbournites (or interstaters enjoying the Melbourne weather)

I forgot to mention, I still have a decent crate load of turning stock (blocks/bowl blanks in Qld timber or cast/stabilised) with me left-over from Philip Island I will bring for sale, so bring your wallets. First come best dressed (or send me a PM for a preview).

dust the top of doors? what the! I didn't even know a door had a top. So I just checked a few doors in my house and sure enough they do have tops. None are painted though
i'll be headed out there tomorrow. it is so far away, i'll take my passport just in case i get stopped at the border.

True I have been cleaning the shed.... I'd call it more moving one pile on top of another pile in hope there is enough room for any demonstrations that could take place....Lucky my shed is tiny in comparison to DaveTTC's or I'd have to call in dirk and Pete to pick up the brooms
Simone did the shop for suplies today, but we have been a little time poor do the bom Alaska will have to wait til next gathering...
Mat, if there is any timber that looks like a saw handle or two then I'll shoot you a photo and put your name on it.
Kuffy, it may be a bit of a hike, but there are plenty of your favorite restaurants along the way.....
Can't wait. ...."All the gear and no idea"
