I said I'd be there last time but life got in the way (stupid life) but I SHOULD be able to make it this time as we are going for a holiday up to mooloolaba the next day (maybe I should find out where to go for some nice timber while I'm there) so I don't have work, thus no excuses....

Gotta get it back on a plane, so I'd be going for special looking turning blanks. Your slab would have to be carry on Doug, but I'd probably need to buy an extra seat for it


I think mapleman could be a little far to drop passed (it's a full family holiday so can't timber tour too much)

Mapleman's place is good for a family visit. My grandson played with his dog for ages.

I'll be away over Easter, coming back on the Tuesday, so I'll miss the next meeting.

In view of the clash with ANZAC day, and the poor turn out for the last GTG which clashed with Easter, should we change our night for this month?
It is also quite likely that the RSL lounge could be crowded and noisy with ANZAC celebrations.

I would suggest Monday 2nd May, but could be any other day in the last week of April.

Might also be more suitable for Dave's spirits
