    Hi Clinton!

This was recommended to me by WB - I also haven't been to one before, but do intend to go to this one. I have, however, been warned about taking the wallet along for the ride

    Cheers!

    Auld Bassoon,

I'll wear my foily hat, and I'll stand out. I'm 6'6" so just look for the foily bobbing along above the crowd
I intend to get there early 'cause a bloke I know has something on hold for me and I want to get the pick of the batch.
So Sunday 0900h for me, if you see me, please say G'day.
    Cheers,
    Clinton

I have to attend the St Arnaud Festival on the Saturday but should be home in time to attend on the Sunday. Hope to see you all there.

    Hi Clinton,

    Will do!

I'll be wearing my L.N. cap - just to stir the "old tool folks"

    Cheers!

    Al,

That's a pity but I'll see if I can take some pics to "pornalise" those who don't go

    Gday all

Well, made it to the tool drool this morn. Saw Groggy in the street outside, and Oz & WB in the playground .

Suprised by the turnup, there were heaps of droolers there. The lady on the door said the queue was 30 ft long when they opened at 9 am (edit:30 Odd Foot of Grunts ).

Plenty of stalls, oodles of planes, chisels, squares, marking gauges, etc etc. Not as many saws as I expected, saw a S & J backsaw for $30 that I was keen on but maybe next time.

Felt a bit out of it not having facial har like Fidel Castro, seemed to be a membership condition for galoots. Only a days growth made me look like a real newbie . Now Rob's impressive shag makes sense

Picked up myself a stanley #53 spokeshave for $30. Has an adjustable mouth / toepiece. Bugger all japanning left but it's to be a user anyway. Pics below.

Bit of a wander along Glenferrie Rd shops to placate the bride & tribe afterwards, nice coffee & snot block in cafe, then home james.

    Sunday morning well spent

    Cheers.............Sean, cleanshaven...hell, spokeshavin'

    Hi Guys!

I'm afraid that I couldn't make it today after all - something else came up that needed my attention:mad:

Did any of you who went find anything of interest - and bought it

    Cheers!

    Looks nice Scooter!

How easy is it to adjust - some of those can be real bears to adjust properly!

    Cheers!
