Heard a rumour that will be shaved, or shaven, or whatever.
Pretty as a picture anywayStupidity kills. Absolute stupidity kills absolutely.

G'day Grunt,
Hope it's a huge carnation, don't want to scare the Makita girl or the kiddies.

I'll be there sunday ( after I go to church with Doorstop)
I have a list of stuff I need, Only trouble is it keeps getting longer ( the list I meant! )I try and do new things twice.. the first time to see if I can do it.. the second time to see if I like it

Chris,
I think a small carnation would be sufficient for those two unless you were thinking they were going to hide their faces too!
So what's everyone buying?
My budget has been slashed to $300 after a significant chisel purchase recently.
My wish list
UBeaut stocks need to be topped up - shellac and wax
More Clamps
Veritas Honing compound
Perhaps an arkansas stone
I'll sniff around Carba-tec for some router bits
I'll check out MIK
Purchase some brass hinges and screws- Wood Borer

G'day,
I'll be drooling over things I can't afford & can afford. SWMBO has cut my budget. Suffice to say if I buy anything of a decent price I'll be shot.

Waldo, mate, get with the program here. Real woodworkers don't tell SWMBO anything !!

G'day Gumby,
It'd be easier if the shed was invisible and she couldn't see the stuff that I buy and put in there. Also have a bub on the way - so SWMBO is spending money in that area.
Just need a million $ client and I might be able to buy what I want.

I guess I've been lucky.
1. She doesn't have a clue what what machines I have. (she tripped over the Triton router and router table every day for 2 weeks before she realised it was there - and she parks in the garage too )
2. She doesn't really mind anyway.
With a new arrival on the way, you have to have different priorities. Plenty of time to splurge on tools in the later years. I remember those days. Now mine are working so it's a bit different.
see you Friday I hope.If at first you don't succeed, give something else a go. Life is far too short to waste time trying.

Buy hand tools - they must be cheaper because they just so old fashioned and lack modern technology. You can't do anything fancy with them either - not like wonderful power tools.
They are quieter so you are thinking of the tired mother and the baby. You will be seen as budget conscious and considerate.- Wood Borer

G'day Wood Borer,
That's the plan anyway. But since I only believe in buying quality I won't get many hand tools.

So Sunday nothing will be left. Saturday sounds like it will be devoted to pink pansies.
Looks like I better declare Friday a Public Holiday for One.
Having difficulty knowing on what to spend my $620. in gold coins saved since last year. Must remember to wear a belt otherwise the weight of the coins could leave me exposed before Oz and Grunt even get there.
Now
Vix style bits
hold down clamps
how will I carry the bandsaw
carving chizls
another Gorden plane
Ubeaut of course
lunch
coffee at 10:30
I'll be thinking of all who can't go including SWMBO (lucky she has to work)
Geoff
