I reopened this thread after receiving the following email from Joegee
__________________________________________
I have replied to a recent post which I have found discriminating.
I am not happy about the crap that was posted by others hence your forums are controlled and the administrators lock these so people can rubish me and I can not reply.
So you edit what you want and lock what you want and I am asking you if you can delete the account joegee and delete any replies or posts made by me and I will move on.
I have never come across such a controlled forum such as yours.
We are in Australia and we have every right to reply with freedom of speech and even if its based on perception.
So I have mine, you have yours and so do others.
I am not interested in hanging around so you can relax. The choice to delete an account or posts should be made by a control panel.
I will be awaiting this request and will not stop until it has been met.
Joe

Unfortunately I was not around for this thread and did not close it. I did see the first thread which was deleted by an Administrator and rightly so as it was libellous. I believe that Joe, like everyone else on these forums has the right to reply and that is why this thread is reopened for the time being.
I emailed him saying the thread will remain open for his reply until today. So far all that has been received is more from the members and nothing from Joe. Heres hoping Joe responds before he is deleted from the forums.
Cheers - Neil

Yes we should all have fredom of speak our mind however when we use a supplied forum like this one certain rules apply
If you overstep the rules you will be deleted and rightly so.
As to the section of the e-mail above that you appear to have sent, what do you mean
are not the moderators the " control panel" and did you not ask to be deleted thus by-passing the control panel.
Do you think that any on this forum will sit up nights in case you post again , that we won't relax if you don't hang around.
Mate when you send this sort of stuff my advice is to write it out , read it the next day or better yet get someone else to proof read it before you post. cause it just don't make sense
You have been given every chance to reply please do so in a sensible not emotional manner as I for one am interested in what you have to sayLast edited by Ashore; 22nd June 2005 at 10:13 AM.

I am all for freedom of speech and I was a little disappointed when this thread was closed - although when all is said and done we need to remember that this forum belongs to ubeaut and they can administer and moderate it how they see fit.
I should also point out that in the 12 months I've been a part of this great forum the mods have done an excellent job and never act unless absolutely necessary.
I think joegee needs to realise that he crossed the line with this post - if he had a prob with Carbatec sure he should post it, but what he posted was an invite for ridicule.
Joegee, you need to realise you've dropped a right clanger here, take the stirring in good heart and get on with life - we all drop clangers from time to time. I'm sure that when all this dies down you could be a valued member of this forum.
However (ab)using the PM system to send people abusive messages because you don't like what they've said is not a way to win friends here.
Maybe I was out of line with my get rid of Joegee poll (rather disappointed that it got canned) however to me nasty PM's are a gutless way to do to things (if you haven't got the bottle to say something openly don't say it) and I responded in kind - Joegee, I'm in Perth but if I ever get to Melbourne I'd be happy to come to round for a chat if you want to discuss nasty PM's.
I say we should close this silly thread and get back to the serious fun of making small bits of wood out of large bits of wood.
Cheers
Paul

Again threatening and trying his 'holding to ransome' tacticts. He can be soooooooo glad that this is not my bulletin board because I would have told him to go to hell.
So from me personally Joegee....get lost you are a pain!

I am very happy to be a part of this forum as I find it to be very helpful and my fellow members are a pretty good bunch of like minded people (on the whole) with a sense of humour. This should be obvious to even the most casual observer of the different threads.
I find that people tend to self-determine the way in which they are treated by others. ie if you are pleasant, then generally people are pleasant to you and vice versa.
If someone attacks instantly (in their first post) then it is only natural that some wagons get circled in defence and then things are said in haste which may later be regretted.
I will be very happy to see the end of this thread and I hope that if Joe wishes to stay a part of the community then he adapts to our standards. If he doesn't then there are lots of forums that I am sure would welcome him in. I would perhaps suggest a forum related to anger management as a starting point

All I can picture is Dan, Glock flashing in the sunlight, riding his big black horse, and yellin'
"Look out the Joegees are comin' get them wagons in a circle, women folk and children first, faster damn you."
Boring signature time again!

Bye Bye Joe
Time's up this thread is now closed again and will remain so.
Joe has had his chance to reply publicly in the thread which he complained about being closed and denying him his right of reply. He has chosen not to. He did however reply to me in an email which I thought members might wish to view. But then again it would serve no good purpose posting his reply here so lets just all say goodbye to Joegee for ever.
