I looked for irony in that statement but I couldn't find any. Do you seriously expect people who come into a thread late to assume that the original post was the complete opposite to the one at the start of the thread. I'm not a mind reader nor do I monitor the forum 24 hours a day.

One of the later posts says quite plainly that the post was edited, then said that it wasn't edited by him but by Joegee himself. I thought it was fairly obvious.

There was no irony or sarcasm, just that I find it unbelievable that members defended joegee without knowing both posts.

My recollection, and it is a pity that I didn't keep the original, the original post in very, very forcefull language criticised CT's decision to open in Springvale.

He insinuated that they did not do any market research, he criticised the claim that suitable facilities, as described by CT, was not available in the west and that they kowtowed to the wishes of those in the east.

IMO the language and phraseology used was libellous and unacceptable. This was born out by the immediate rebuttal by a number of members and immediate closure and subsequent deletion by a Moderator.

Then within minutes this thread was started again without a lot of the offending remarks. So yes the second post is virtually the opposite of the first.

As you have stated, the first post is "virtually opposite to the first". Since this was the first post I read in a new thread, what do you expect me to comment on. If someone choses to tone down their remarks with an edit, that's the post I'll comment on, not one that no longer exist.

Time to put down the thread, and back away sloooowly, when at a safe distance, run like buggery.

Sturdy, you are 90% correct because you didn't mention all the remarks that was made....which is probably just as well! Not only was his original post changed (post 2 to post 3 as said before ) almost beyond recognition, two replies to that original post 2 has vanished as well.

Adrian: Don't worry mate, as you did not get to see the genuine article, it is understandable that you do not know what he actually said and I am not interested in repeating or having someone else repeat all that rubbish that was posted on here.

Come on guys, this was closed, somehow reopened, let us now close it, it's not worth getting excited about.

Neil had his reasons for reopening this thread which I agree with. I am not at liberty to say what those reasons are.

Arguing amongst ourselves is achieving very little.

I have a copy of the original post but it will not be put up here at the moment and probably never will be.

As far as we can determine Joegee has not been here before and that he does live in Melbourne. We don't think he is an ex-employee of Carba-Tec.

Of course we have cross referenced his IP and email address.
