Thread: MILBRO Antique Wood Bench Planer will DONATE to a good home

I rescued an antique wood planer by Milbro from a deceased estate. I would love to use this myself but currently do not have the room. I realise its value but would like to see it go to a good home, restored and used. In exchange I would appreciate any hand tools for wood working, that are not required by the user any longer.IMG_20210405_102810.jpg

Ok details of the Milbro bench planer, see pics.:
It has been used in the 1950s and 60 and then over the years. I do not know the exact age. It has been more recently attached to a tubular steel trolley with 2 wooden shelves and wheels. The electric motor has more recently been added and apparently works well. The plug was removed for safety reasons. Guessing it seems to weigh about 30 kilos.
It is too big and heavy to ship so pick up is necessary.
Located: Blackalls Park NSW 2283, next to Toronto NSW, 20k south of Newcastle and 1 hour drive on the freeway North from Wahroonga / Sydney.
Nominal value hand woodworking tool would be appreciated in exchange.
