    Default Dad's Veneer

    Hi all,

if it's ok with Neil can I ask members to visit my website where you will find much info on us and wonder why in the b'jingo they are moving from such an amazing place, shed pics to come soon! We've been here for 15 years now and need to move a bit closer to family, so property and most stuff I don't want to take is up for grabs very cheap, everything has ono on it even if it doesn't say so. But about veneer, there's one dodgey pic of my Dad's Veneer he handed down to me when he passed away 25 years ago, I have held on to it with a vengence for sentimental reasons as you would expect in the hope I could do it justice by getting into Marquetry as he had and was very good at but the time has come to admit I just aint that clever and so it now can be yours.

    Kind Regards....Jeff

I get the moving to Bendigo part but I just can't work out where the Rustic Furniture Shop is now.

Wouldn't be the first time I was a bit slow.

    Default Dunolly vic

    Hi all,

we are at Dunolly Vic for a while yet, so there will be more stuff getting put on our website in the days ahead. Check us out on our website the folders on the left named wood, metal, veneer, etc and the property, for those interested in having a look around the old shed and such are the ones that will be most informative.

    Kind regards....Jeff

Dunolly heh! That's a nice spot. A bit out of the way though. Hence the move I guess.

I'm pondering on the band saw. But I think I should ponder it until someone else gets it cos I can't afford it right now. Plus I'll have to move soon too. Should wait till afteer that.

Thank you TL, was just about to send a PM to that effect but you have saved me the trouble.

Oddjob1, enough already, this forum is not for promoting your business and/or your moving sale.

    Default I've been asking

    Hi guys,

I have been putting my stuff up for perusal in the marketplace, buy swap and sell areas and someone moved everything to Announcements, which I guess may be the right place to put it all considering they promote the idea of Tell the world about your new product, service, website, whatever. But even the marketplace is for doing what I'm doing so I was just trying to focus on the individuals that would most likely want the things I have and asked if it would be OK to post my URL and since perhaps a moderator moved me but hasn't told me to stop what I'm doing I figured it was OK. Then I saw the guy with the problem about his low-line and just automatically did the same thing, so sorry if I'm a total f-up! I tried to delete all my posts to get out of your faces but I can't so if you can! Do it!

PS TL, the bandsaw weighs a ton so any move would have to be well thought out.

    Kind regards...Jeff

I wondered if they had been moved. Prolly should have gone to the market place. Oh well. Doesn't worry me that much.

Yes I thought it would. Which is also why it would be good. But might be best if I get to where I'm going BEFORE I buy heavy things.

    Default Big shed hey!

    Hi Big shed,

thanks for your input, I see you are at Bendigo, that is where we are moving to, maybe we'll see each other sometime, oh and if you want to see a really Big Shed check out our website, oh that's right not allowed to do that! In the coming days I will be putting pics of our shed in our property file on our website, the old shed has enormous character and I hate to leave it but we have other things to do.

    Kind Regards...Jeff

    Default Mostly done

    Hi all,

a big thanks to all the members that have come around and picked up their items, there was far too much to put up on our own site before the pack arrived, many things I gave away for nix because I like to see fellow woodies happy! (12 piece Marples carving chisels, a ton of mixed bowl turning blanks, Saw blades, various Stanley hand planes, the list goes on) They all go to good homes.
Now that I have figured out how to insert images on this site I will in the coming days put in your faces in the appropriate market place forums whatever I didn't sell or give away. No need to go hunting around our website, the prices will be included and none of what I am doing is what I do for a living, it's just clearing out what I don't need. So I hope this fits the rules this time, let me know if you think it doesn't!

    Kind regards ....Jeff

Yeah, your method of posting raised my eyebrows... but damnit, I wish I was in Victoria so I could come out to your place and take a look at the shed.
    Cheers,
