Oberon Steam & Vintage Music Festival details announced | Highlands Steam and Vintage Fair - Oberon 2011

Oberon Steam & Vintage Music Festival, part of the Highlands Steam & Vintage Fair gets underway on Sunday 13th February 2011.
Kicking off the day will be the Oberon Steam & Vintage Bush Poets Breakfast at Oberon Leagues Club from 9.00 AM.
Featured Poets to date are Brian Beesley and Kevin Campbell. The Rouseabouts, a rattling good bush band will also feature. Oberon Leagues Club and the Rotary Club of Oberon will be providing hearty sausage sizzles.
The breakfast will be followed by the Oberon Steam & Vintage Music Festival from 11.00 AM on stage immediately adjacent to the Club.
Featured artists announced include Alan Casswell, six time Golden Guitar winner whose song "On the Inside" was a world Top 10 Hit and the theme song for the television series "Prisoner", ably assisted by Pat Drummond and Karen Lynne, both Independent Country Artists of the year and recipients of the Hands of Fame Award at Tamworth.
The incredible musical talents of Fiddler, Simon Watts and Guitarist, Glenn Skarratt will make the day a delight for lovers of Australian Country/Folk music.
Mickey Pye, a talented Oberon local and winner of the 2009 Gympie Muster Maton Talent Search, 2009 Tamworth's Aristocrat Entertainer of the Year and 2010 Finalist in Toyota's Star Maker together with his talented sister Clancey Pye and other high profile local & regional artists will round out the line-up in what will prove to be a delightful addition to the Highlands Steam & Vintage Fair.
