If there's no such thing as too much publicity good or bad, then I think that many of the suppliers of our toys and bits and pieces have had lots of exposure that would have cost them thousands in advertising fees in any other medium (e.g.Cxxxx-xxc, , Festool, G.M.C., Triton. MIK, etc, etc.) Perhaps they would like to contribute?

Neil like lots of fair dinkum people don't justify everything on an economic basis.
The Bulletin Board is a valuable resource for woodworkers all over the world now with Neil footing the bill. I admire him for his unselfish contributions to woodworking but like the others, I too feel uncomfortable benefiting without contributing.
I buy Neil's products because they are good - not just to make myself feel better but it does help dull the guilt a bit. I refer Neil's products to others who are grateful to me for putting them onto these products.
I still think Neil would fall short financially though so should feel free to ask me for a contribution - I would gladly pay.
Perhaps there are other ways we could contribute, please let us know.

Seriously, I think the best way to support UBeaut is to buy the products. I am making some candles at the moment so it is time to buy some more wax.

This board is without doubt pure gold. I would be lost without it.
More than willing to pay a fee as it is worth more than any magazine subscription!.
I now buy Ubeaut whenever I can. However, I had to be actually pointed towards Ubeauts products and book on this very forum initially as I had no idea who owned it.
So it is actually the members who are selling the products when you actually start looking for it....however, it certainly would not hurt to add a bit more exposure to your products on the forums!!!.
Long live this forum!

I think more site advertising is the way to go. I'm another of those who hadn't heard of UBeaut before I joined this forum. Based on what I've learned here, I've bought some product and I'm very happy with it.
I don't think anyone would mind more UB based adverts on this site...

Bearing in mind that this is all hypothetical...while I certainly wouldn't begrudge Ubeaut advertising on it's own forum, the unpaid, unsolicited endorsement of the products by forum members carries far more weight than pop-ups and banners ever could.
A newcomer to the board might dismiss it as purely a marketing vehicle if it carried too much signage. It took me awhile to work out who Ubeaut was, and I'm glad I was allowed to find my own way to their (excellent) gear.
Still, bills have to be paid, and if it took a few ads to help do that, so be it.
Just my two cents.
Regards,
