    Thumbs up

Thank you Rocker and Barbara for a wonderful day. I was gobsmacked from the moment I walked in the door of your lovely home to see the quality of Rocker's work first hand.

Barbara & Rocker had set up a lounge and 3 of Rocker's Rockers in a little conversation circle. It was the best idea and setup I've seen for ages. I think the rockers were only empty when Lunch was served. Other than that, I don't think the rockers were ever empty, they were that comfortable. Oh and we got to listen to the unusual but lovely music of rain on the roof as well.

Many thanks for a lovely day. As usual, it was fabulous to catch up with everyone.

I won Major's Panel Marking Gauge - I now have a set (Thanks Major!) and Rick's scrollsawn picture of Ned Kelly, which HWMBO will be happily hanging tonight

    Cheers
    Wendy

PS my photos are on film so will be a couple of days away.

Thanks to Rocker and Mrs. Rocker for hosting a wonderful get-together, it was real pleasure! Great company, lovely food, and some awesome jigs and tools. Once again it was good to meet some more forum members in the flesh.
Besides the astonishing collection of furniture made by Rocker...and that was truly inspiring...we also got to try out Major Panic's highly original seat.
I think everyone who attended ended up with a door prize (well maybe not Biting Midge, as he left early), and I was lucky enough to get a Rocker morticing jig!!

    Thanks everyone,
    Andy Mac

Well I eventually did arrive at Rockers place late but none the less I got there. Plane was late.
Was good to see a couple of people that I had met only a month before (Wendy & Andy) and great to put faces to names of those that I had the privilege of meeting, who came to the GTG and especially the host's David and Barbara.

I was/am very implessed with the work of David he has made some very beautiful pieces of which I have photo's of untill the camera battery ran flat.

I was not there when the door prize's were drawn out. BUT I consider that I got the best door prize in that I had the afternoon and evening with David and Barbara. Stayed the night and then of to Toowoomba next morning.
Barbara thanks for the lovely meal.
    Thank you both very much.

Just let me know when the next one is on and I will be there. Please!!!!

    Regards Peter
