Freight to Adelaide
I have a quote in to bring 6 packs to SA for $1800! The next best I could get was $2150. Might be able to knock it down a little by calling others but this looks like as good as we will be able to get.
This makes $300 each for shipping and $100/pack. Let me know if you want to be in and arrange payment with me.
This is still very cheap timber. Talking with the yard it sounds like it will be everything we could hope for for the use that we have.

Still that's not a problem it will still be worth it if the freight is reasonable It is very generous of you to offer your facilitiies.
Is there anyone arranging the freight in Melb ?? Is it Sturdee ??

Just out of curiousity (and maybe ignorance) is the timber green or dried?
Have a nice day - Cheers

I've PM'd Tankstand to see if he wants to come on board also. That might cover the bottom of the semi.

How far up the coast is the mill, if its not to far i would consider picking up an 8 tonne load. (i have an 8 tonne crane truck)

I got a guy at work who's a woodie too, I ask him tomorrow see if he wants any.
Surely we can get the transport cost per pack down if we can load a semi fully?....................................................................

Mind you realistically 8 packs would stack really nicely on the bottom and you can load other stuff like palettes of groceries on top so if we can get it to 8 you never know.

G'day to the South Oz lads, I got Trevs PM.
I'll go for half a pack if someone wants so split one with me.The secret to creativity is knowing how to hide your sources.

Talking with Trevor last night he asked about getting a bit more on the truck and reducing the cost per pack that way but we do have to put a deadline on this so I will post details tonight.
I do want to speak with everyone and have details from you of whether you want flooring or structural and payment must definitely be upfront. If you are prepared to you can give me credit card numbers and I can put that through my business to make payment easier.

Have been to busy the last couple of days for doing anything, haven't even been in the workshop. Never knew how I fitted it all in when I was working fulltime.
