RENOVATE FORUMS - Has moved to new site. HOWEVER...
HOWDY FOLKS
Well it's done Reno has moved to its own, new, autonomous, website.
However... YEP! For some reason there's almost always a however... HOWEVER, It's not open yet. Took some 48+ hours to shift and get it running thanks to some rogue code which kept on switching us back to this site.
Most of the preliminary work is now done and with luck it will be open for posting some time tomorrow morning or afternoon or evening. Knowing the problems so far it may not be up and runninguntil the end of the week. Nah she'll be right.
I did say I had my fingers crossed, pity I wasn't able to cross my toes as well.
Anyway I'll let you know when it's fully open for posting happens.
The link at the top of the page will take you directly to the new site which thanks to problems is for now renovateforums.com.au but eventually renovateforums.com - renovateforums.au - renovateforum.au and renovateforums.au will all get you there.

Neil,
will the New Posts tab here include posts from the new renovate forum, as it does with some posts from the metalwork forum?

Yes eventually there will be an RSS Feed from Rerno back to here. This will go in the tabbed forum like MWF. Will have a snippet of the post/thread and link back to the forum on new site. Might not happen for a little while as there's a ship load of other backroom stuff to do first.
Cheers - Neil

NOW OPEN for posting.
AT LAST IT'S UP 'n' RUNNING
OK folks Renovate Forums is now open for posting on the new site. Should all be fine although there's still a ship load of backroom work to do.
Some forums from here that are relevant to Reno will appear on the new site as well as here. eg furniture restoration, finishing, market place, etc. Some of the unused forums in reno may be deleted.
Everyone who is currently a member on WWF will be able to log into the new Reno Site with their usual login info.
Cheers - Neil

Thanks again Neil. Sounds like there is still plenty to do, but it's working for sure
Hoping for the full menu across the top of the new site, whenever it's possible (that is, New Posts ... through to ... Quick Links)

Yep. Full links across the top should happen shortly. Few other things to get sorted first or the links will want to bring users back to here or into semi defunct forums that came across with the to Reno with the move.
There should be a number of changes (minor to semi major) over the next few weeks. But nothing too drastic. eg: a culling of unused Reno forums and additional of some from WWF that are reno related.
Phew.

Thanks for the update. I just tried to post to my current thread in The Garden Shed and for some reason none of the post editing icons for text formatting or uploading pictures, etc., were available. They are here in my new post, but not over there.

Over at the new RF site, the MWF RSS feed is coming through. Since we already see that feed in WWF (or directly in MWF itself), I'm wondering if we can decide to not see MWF RSS feed as New Posts in RF? (MWF RSS feed posts are more than half the new posts list in RF I've seen today)
