I hide behind a psuedonym to protect me from the all the crazies out there that are trying to get me. You know, the ones who scuttle around the corner as you're walking down the street and hide in the walls and under your bed...

Actually, the real reason is that I'm a famous TV personality and/or rock star and I don't want anyone to treat me any differently to anyone else.

I don't care if the reputation points never come back. It was a bit of fun and I was trying to use them constructively. At the end of the day, if it's going to drive people away, it's probably best they don't come back but that's a decision for the administrators.

Again the idiot minority have spoiled it for the rest of us and none of them have had the guts to defend their stupid and unthinking actions nor have they apologised.

These parasites have to prey on others because they cannot exist on their own. Their pea brains aren't creative or skilled, they seek out the efforts of others with the view of destruction. I am not sure if we should feel sorry for them and offer them help or whether we should punish them.

The strange thing is that these idiots are on a course of self destruction. If all the "normal" users of this BB left, they would not have anybody to prey on so they would either move on (I wish) or perish (not a bad thought either).

Cliff's idea of only giving positive points sounds like a move in the right direction.

I have always failed to understand why on things like chat rooms/boords people get involved in arguments. I believe I state my view and if people don't agree they have the right to state theirs. Then its for the other members to decide what they go with, but heated arguments dont make for pleasant viewing

Well ok then, this is my 500th post so I may as well get it over with as I go GOLD!!!!

My real first name is Sawyer, not Biting. When I was a junior draftsman, I took great pride in my work, and I used to be very, very particular about accuracy of drawings, particularly fine dimensioning in joinery work, which I could calculate to five decimal places of a millimetre. So particular was I that I often felt that some of my contemporaries were taking the you-know-what behind my back. They didn't seem to think beyond the colour of the beverage that they were undoubtedly going to consume as soon as the knock-off hooter sounded, but I didn't let them grind me down, and kept doggedly on in my pursuit of perfection.

I used to carry with me everywhere, this lovely leather briefcase which I was given by my mother to mark the occasion of me commencing work, which she had specially ordered with my name embossed on it in gold leaf:

"S MIDGE"

.

The others at the office were remorseless in their negativity, and adopted my name as a derogitary term for any small measurement. Eventually the term became adopted universally and as the person after whom a method of measurement was named I was soon in great demand for all sorts of wierd and wonderful appearances.

I couldn't take the pace, changed my name to Biting, and have lived in relative peace until now, when pressure from all on this forum has forced me to come clean....ohh bugger there goes the phone...it's started already.......
