good, because its been either too hot or too wet to work on my weekend projects after all.
I got sick of sitting around doing nothing - so I took up meditation.

Transferring of forums to new server is done. Last files went across at around 4:30am this-morning. Still some bits and pieces to be done tonight and over the next few days until all members hit the new server automatically which could take a couple of days. There may be a short outage or two this-evening as some bits and pieces are being done but only slight nuisance outage(s) some time after 7:30.
Most who are hitting the new server will find that the forums are running much faster some queries that on the old server took up to 4 minutes are now taking just 4 seconds. That's one hell of a jump in speed.
Cheers - NeilKEEP A LID ON THE GARBAGE... Report spam, scams, and inappropriate posts, PMs and Blogs.

Thanks all for the dedication and perseverance.
I used to be an engineer, I'm not an engineer any more, but on the really good days I can remember when I was.

Well done to all concerned. I must say I have never known a server upgrade to proceed without some glitches...must be part of the process.

Its noticeably slower from my seat here in Dandenong.
I never had any speed issues before this upgrade.

I also find the site much slower. Never had any speed issues before. I am on high speed internet (100Mb at home 20Mb at work)

Hang on, that post was only 1.5 hrs before your post. Mine was the one before that and we are just responding to the people before us that said it was quicker for them.
So are you Steve saying the routing is going to happen in 1.5 hours from now? 7pm.
So you haven't started routing yet?

Fine,
But you quoted Les's post at 26th Feb 2015, 05:20 PM.
3 hrs after 5pm.
You didn't quote mine.
You just keep working on the issues because its still slow now.
Peter
