SHEEP & WOOL sHOW.
Hi to All,
OK, you Turner Chaps, here is one way to get on the right side of Your Good Ladies.
"The Australian Sheep & Wool Show " is on again, in Bendigo, at the Show Grounds.
Fri. 17th. - Sat.18th. - Sun. 19th. July 2009.
Friday is the Day to come as you will see everything, before all items get sold. So if Your Good Lady likes Knitting, Weaving, Spinning or Crocheting or just Wool, this is the place to go.
I will be there with all my Turned Articles, mainly to do with Wool.
The Woodturners Bendigo, Inc. will be there, but we are in different Sheds.
We both sell different articles.
I'm sorry as I don't know the cost of entry, & there is Food available.
Hope to see some of you there. I may even put my ID on my board.
Regards,
issatree.

I wouldn't if I were you Dave NZ is renown for its sheep and the world over woodworkers are needed by women who love woodies.
Spinning wheels, looms, drop spindles, knitting needls,
Then there are carvers who need women who turn wood n plastic into pencils as well as wool into garments

You know I think we have done a very good job for the Sheep and Wool show. We have kept it in the front line by all our post.
Issatree: Do not forget to give us an update on the show.

Sheep & Wool Show, Bendigo.
Hi All,
I haven't been looking at the Thread I entered, but thank you for all those witty replies.
I'm Loaded, & ready to head off Thur.16th. & set up my Stall, Lathe & all, ready for the onslaught of Ladies from all over Vic. NSW. SA. I think they save up their $'s just for this Show.
I'm the only Male in this Shed of Ladies. The Banter that goes on is unreal, good fun for all the 3 days.
I save some of my Shavings, & they use them to dye the wool. Osage Orange is the Favorite, but I have some others this time to give to the Ladies. Gets me in the good books.
Just to let you know what items I make, Needles, many sizes & kinds, Crochet Hooks, many kinds, Drop Spindles, Knitting Nancy's, Scarf Pins, Wrappers, & so on. I target those Ladies, & they come back every year, because I work on Turnover, & I believe I put out a well made item, & I don't charge like a wounded bull. I'll be lucky if I come home with anything, but money.
I will write a Thread on the Show, but which section will I put it in ?.
Regards,
issatree.

Sheep & Wool Show, Bendigo.
Hi Wheelinround,
Thanks for your comments. I'm sorry, but I'm not up to putting photos on W/Forums yet.
I need someone here to SHOW ME HOW. Not much good at understanding written stuff, but one day it will happen.
I'll have about 300 pieces to take, & that takes a fair amount of time.
So there could be some good Photos out of that lot.
Regards,
issatree.
