Don't forget to remind Michelle that to cross the river Styx, you will require a couple of coins -- a pair of $1 Kangas should do it.

Ian she already knows and when the time has come will sent a message to Neill. As part of my preparedness I have executed my will and power of attorney.

Even today I discussed with Elaine and Michelle what bills fall due and how they are to be paid. To allow them to take over this task I gave then my internet bank access code and passwords to allow the smooth running whilst I;m not able anymore.

Part of my preparednes to look after them when I go,

    Peter,

Peter, so sorry to hear this. You will be missed by so many.
I have never met you, but I always read your posts over the years. You sent me some plans many years ago, thank you for that.

I saw this thread a few days ago, but have been avoiding adding my reply. Because it bought me sorrow in more ways than one.
My Dad went through a very similar thing recently. His funeral was on Friday just gone.
He refused all treatment, and wanted to stay at home. He got his wish, they supplied a hospital bed for his comfort, and my Mum, my 2 sisters, myself, and some of the extended family, took turns at being nurse. It meant we could spend maximum time with him while we could.

Like my Dad, you will be remembered always.
    Brad.

I would have been willing to keep on fighting but my cancer team at the Austin will not treat me any more as they know my body can,t cope anymore.

Btw. I had my final difficult. Call on monday to inform. My GP of what is happening. And something Derek would appreciate I waived all privacy restrictions in favour of Elaine and Michelle to facilitate contact

Posting is becoming more. Difficult, but I enjoy all messages of support. Peter.

Hi Peter, I’ve only just seen this, been away for a few days.

Proud to have meet you and your advice over the years has helped me immensely especially in person when you’ve helped me at my low periods.

May you Rest In Peace and your suffering till then is brief.

    Kind Regards

    DJ

Peter, I am so sad to hear of your deteriorating health. We had many long and happy conversations at the various get-together's over the years, and although we have not kept in touch my thoughts are with you and your family. May your remaining time be as happy as it can be in the bosom of your family.

So sorry to hear this, Peter. I don't think we have ever met, unless it was once at Jeff's shed, but I've always valued your sensible posts on all sorts of topics. I hope that when my time comes, I can face it with the same attitude as you.

    Travel well, friend.

And it,s failing more a little bit each day.

When I move, twist or turn shooting pains come from four main points and when I lay still again the disappear.
