Stainless Steel Wire Rope Balustrade now Available at Scrooz
Just a nudge to let you know we now have stainless steel wire rope balustrade available to order direct from our site and prices and quality are excellent, we have either pre-swaged assemblies available or DIY components to build your own and all in marine grade 316gr. We've been working hard to produce a fully automated easy order system for our pre-swaged kits which works great, so you don't even have to ring us... unless you want to of course

Scruff, could you please clear up a little of my confusion. If I order 1 unit, that it is 1 strand of wire and fittings of X length. So if I wanted a balustrade of 4 strands I would order 4 units?
This might be my way out of a job that I started some 8 years agoPat

Hi Pat, that's right, we've tried to simplify it so you just add your lengths and our system automatically adds a kit to each one, when you add them in the cart you'll see you get 2 lines, 1 with the number of kits and 1 with a cutting list and total amount of wire.
You just need to add post fittings, we don't include them in a kit as people prefer different methods.
If you want us to age it to match the rest, forget it

Where do I calculate the length of the wire rope? The site doesn't mention the length of 1 unit.

I had some of these made up a couple of years ago im Melbourne from a different firm.
I had to give them the exact measurements between supporting posts and they did the calculations from there.
Hope that helpsTom

Once you have your measurements from inside to inside of your posts, you just put your sizes in the table on the top right of the page plus the amount you want at that size and our site calculates how many kits you need and the total amount of wire.
Then you just add whichever post fitting you prefer (saddles, lag screws etc) and your all done. If you click the 'ordering info' button on the page it will download an easy pdf guide for you.
The idea is to provide a fully automated system so you can order or accurately research your pricing instantly 24/7 direct from our website without having to call us or wait for us to quote you, much more efficient
If your still stuck though just give us a call, we'll be happy to help.
