Nick, don't use the "it's too far" excuse. It's only a little 100Km each way trip for me.

Dave, I'll pack the car tomorrow and hopefully remember the VIL

I spoke to Dave as he has said and I just can't get there due to other commitments. I am feeling flattened tonight and can't be bothered doing anything much. Thanks for the kind words and I look forward to another day. Pat, I tried to ring today but you were not home.

Thanks to Dave for putting on the day and especially the feed, Nick, Christos, Jane, Ray and Sue for putting up with my poor corny sense of humour.

I just want to say my thanks for a great day. Please also thank your dad for the spread.

I think we made fun of Pat more then we did of Dave. Mainly because it was Pat who was doing the work.

    Here's a part of a conversation

Pat ask, "Do you have any nuts?"
Dave looking astonished that Pat could ask such a question?
    Pat elaborates "Steel nuts?"
Dave almost floored by the question.
"For the bolt!" as Pat explains

Yes Christos, Dave doesn't have half the stock of a hardware store . . . yet!

But I also have 2 sheds to house the pile of "clutter".
