Thanks Sam. We have taken feedback from this forum that more communication on this format is needed for those that are not on social media. We have posted this to many of the different topics in this forum to make sure members are aware (ie Men's Shed, Special Interest etc). Over the coming week, we will be promoting all of our exhibitors and demonstrators via this forum and also social media. So stay tuned for . more )

I think you have mis-heard the request then !
What was said was that this is a captive audience for (one of) the target markets you are wanting to attract, so why wouldn't you at least try to communicate to us through this channel?
Not everyone is on FB, Insta, Twitter, or any other du-jour platform, but everyone here is pretty much a woodworker, so spending a small amount of time to promote to us here, rather than just spending advertising money on those platforms and hoping you get to the target audiences, should give you higher than average return on effort.
And if at all I can influence your posting behaviour - just tell us the detail once about what is changing / being announced. Many (all?) of us use the "new posts" function to get our fix here, and it was pretty boring having you post exactly the same thing three times. Maybe if you post your new content in the "best" location (that may well be "announcements", or other location if the moderation team think there's a better place) and just post small updates to the other threads in your chosen forum areas, as a backstop if some people don't use the "new posts".

Artisans On The Hill will be there with our own stand this year. (I will still be on the Trend stand as well)
Christine (my wife) will be demonstrating creating pure silver pieces from "clay". Alchemy at work!!!
She will also be doing some silk painting where visitors can make their own silk scarf.
On the woodworking front, Alan Williams will again be joining us - demonstrating bandsaw on the Trend stand. We will have a selection of Alan's pieces available on our stand too.
I will also have stocks of my Ezy2Fit keyhole hangers for your projects and will be demonstrating their use.
For those also interested in fishing & boating - I will have supplies of my Tide Clocks and will demonstrate the method used to create the Mahogany bases.
If you have not read the thread by Bernmc on his experience at Artisans - take a moment to read it - I was blown away by his comments!

I heard an advert on radio yesterday morning for the show, and I note that Ubeaut Finishes is one of the brands that will be at the show, and also Triton.
Metabo will also be there, looks like it will be an interesting show.
Does this mean that our benevolent dictator will be at the Ubeaut stand?
Getting close now!

Uncle Al,
Comparing the list of exhibitors with the list of brands I wonder whether this is simply saying that the brands will be there as part of the listed exhibitors stock. Carbatec, for example, sells Kreg, Sawstop, Triton, Festool, Titebond, Pfeil, U-Beaut, Sorby etc?
