Bugger! Never thought of that. Apparently VEK Tools are attending, which may explain the Metabo reference.
We will have to wait and see.

That is correct - we have listed the brands that are available at the show via the retailers bringing them.

The following retailers will bring big brands and a range of demonstrations at their stands:
    - Trend Timbers
    - Carbatec
    - VEK Tools
    - RecordPower
    - Gameco
    - Japanese Tools Australia

Most of the time, manufacturer brands do not exhibit as to not compete with their retailers. Supporting the tool and machinery retailers is very important to the shows and our visitors - bringing the brands to the show that customers can buy.

    HI All -

We are pleased to release the Sydney 2019 Program of Demonstrations, Classes and Exhibitors to help you plan your day.

This program includes the scheduled demonstrations from our exhibitors, however many exhibitors will also be running 1-1 demos at their stands throughout the day.

Download a PDF copy of the program here:

Yes Alan We Are Back...apologies for last year but I had personal & business issues that thru me around a bit.

Whilst we havent got the amount of suppliers we would usually have we have put the focus on the big wood working brands within our business for this show(Festool, Fein, Metabo Tools,Triton Tools,Sola Measuring, Flai Saw Blades, Tormek, Bordo) . This year We are also offering $50 Cash Back Credit per $1000 spend on stand, so if you spend $2000 you will get $100 to spend back at one of our stores after the show

Hopefully with the wood working forum & shows support we can grow the brands next year

Only one more sleep to go!
I will have a good look at the VEK Tools stand as well as all the other vendors and displays. The weather will clear up after a couple of wet days earlier this week, so the outside guys doing demo's of chainsaw slabbing etc. should be O.K on the grassed area in front of the main hall.

Looking forward to a great show, see Ya there.

    Default Lost, stolen or strayed

Sometime during the set-up for the show, my Colen Clenton small try square and my 6" vernier went missing. The square is in an ARC box and has my drivers licence No. 2979LV engraved on the stock. The vernier, I think, also has the number engraved on the back, but I'm not absolutely sure about that. The vernier is in its torn dark blue plastic sleeve, NOT the box shown in the photo.

If you happen to see these in the possession of someone who shouldn't have them I'd appreciate it if you could let me know by PM.

Also, my blind friend bought a Japanese saw at the show. However, when he got home it wasn't in his backpack. It's possible that it came out of his backpack when he took his lunch out. We were sitting outside the stand, and there were school students at the tables on either side of us. The students were wearing navy blazers, and I think they were probably part of the largest school group at the show. If the organisers could let me know which school it may have been so they can be contacted that would be much appreciated. Please note, there is NO suspicion that a student may have stolen it, but someone may have seen it after we left.

Sorry to hear about these incidents, which would obviously have put a dampener on the day.
Hopefully you may get some of these back.

Commiserations Alex, a good day and a bad one all in one. I'm not religious so the best I can do is cross everything for the safe return of the missing items.

How far is it from the parking to the show. From the brochure it seems you have to go over a pedestrian railway overpass to get there. Is this disable friendly. Or is there a drop off/pick up area for disabled.
    Thanks.

Lyle, that is general parking in P2, P3 & P4 but if you have "disability sticker" you can park in "P1" a flat walk to the exhibition hall....

I've just got back from the show, and the one thing that sticks in my mind is the way the young adults I took were treated!
Two Yr 11 woodwork students, and a woodwork-interested uni student:

My daughter was repeatedly ignored at demonstrations and stalls, and had to sit through 3 resin pour demos before she was finally acknowledged and given the handout - all MALES in the audience were given handouts, but she was passed over despite reaching out to take one.

She was later tapped on the shoulder by an elderly show visitor, and told she should not be at the show, but at home in the kitchen, because that's where women belong.

The two young men were both told, at separate stalls, that they should be at home studying, and not at the show.

I realise that people's attitudes are beyond the control of the organiser, but I'm pretty sure we won't be bothered to travel from the Central Coast to any woodworking shows in the foreseeable future.
