    Default Sydney’s big annual tool sale is on again. Sunday 25th February.Sta

    The Traditional Tools Group will be hosting the annual Thornleigh sale next Sunday the 25th of February.

    60 tables of tools for sale bring cash!

    Doors open 9 to 1. $10 entry. Plenty of parking.

    There will be squillions of planes, chisels, saws, clamps etc plus machinists cutters,drills and measuring/marking out gear.
    The remnants of a deceased estate including two Norris planes, one new in the box.
    Combination planes No’s. 50, 54, 45, 405, 55. Most with full sets of cutters.
    Plane blades and other spares parts on offer also.

    This is a continuation of the ‘SYDNEY TOOL SALE AND SWAP’ 69DC2D99-E40C-4712-A6D6-799BE2D2D6AD.jpeg started back in 1986 and ran for 30 plus years til my mates and kids cried enough!

    I was very keen to get to this event. Sadly I have family issues to contend with which means I'll be interstate and cannot attend.
    Particularly looking for some Stanley No 50 parts and blades.
    Would there be a Stanley guru there that I could contact to try and buy from.

    I have a couple of Stanley 50s for sale not sure they’ll be what you want.

    I have just finished organising my stuff, a mate who’s losing it dropped a stash over at 3 this arvo, tween that and my kids etc for lunch I’m a bit behind where I should be so no photos.

    One is good condition with a full set of blades in their original box. I want $150 for it.
    The other is a roughy with one blade. Asking $50 for it.
