This might have been what broke it for Safari on the IPad.
In the last week or so, I noticed a problem with the forums when using Safari on the IPad.
It used to work fine, but recently started the following.
When you go to select the next page for posts on the thread, you get taken back the to the first page. You can't go to the next page or the last post, it only shows the first page now.
Means you can only read the first page of a thread.
Never used to be like this originally, only something that has started up in the last few weeks.
Was wondering what could have been the cause. Thought it might have been an update to Safari or something, but it hasn't been updated.
Only just found this post, and it might explain it because someone else was having similar issues until they changed setting in the tapatalk application. On Safari, I can't find any settings that overcome this issue.
Also, same deal on Safari, don't get the forum menu on the left hand side,so can't get to marketplace or other areas not accessed from the home page.
Regards

Nope it was broke on safari before tapatalk was installed and has been broken for a few weeks - at least when using the "mobile" skin. For some reason this mobile skin no longer appears and the pagination problem has gone away.
Does the forum appear with a white background in iPad?

Hey, slow down a bit .... have you blokes just arrived
from outer space with some newfangled language of your own.
Having read this thread there are mentions of:
Tapatalk, iPhone, Android, Blackberry, Nokia,
vBulletin, Caching, PhpBB, IPBoard, SMF, HTC Desire,
Safari on the iPad, Mobile skin, Pagination.
I am currently trying to teach my grandchildren Morse Code
and this new language of yours is holding me back.

One feature I have noticed, at least for the Android crowd is that you can add a tapatalk widget to the home screen that takes you straight into the forum without having to go through the menus. Very useful...
Dunno if iPhone OS allows this. Hope so.

Its really awesome that you are installing forumrunner, the feature set of this one looks far better than the tapatalk, especially with the ability to upload images directly and receive notifications directly to the app - like facebook iphone app does.
Let me know if I can help get this sorted out? I am not a vbulletin expert but I do have an iphone and will keep testing it as long as you need me to. I will send you a PM with my phone number if you want to sms me to try again rather than coming to the forum.
Cheers
Jason
