TheWoodMall.com - Buy/Sell/Trade timber, supplies, tools, etc.
I wanted to let my friends in Australia know about my site that is opening on Friday. It has been in the works for a number of months and is finally ready to start.
In a nutshell, TheWoodMall will be like eBay for woodworkers - except geared towards our specific needs and minus the outrageous fees. I would love to see a thriving Australian sector of buyers and sellers on the site. I do not think this would take away from the Buy/Sell/Swap forums here, but would rather give an additional sales venue, especially for those that pull in a good portion of their income from wood sales.
There are currently no auctions displayed because the site is not open until Friday (2/29), but I hope you will take the time to check the site out and consider using it. I could say more, but you should see it for yourself.
I am always open to suggestions and questions, so feel free to PM me!

Hey there,
I like your site, easy to navigate and clear. One thing, I think the first page includes too much text, when potential clients visit a site they don't want to scroll down on a page. Reach your audience in a clear, quick manner. They don't want to read a story they want to know why they should buy/bid from you and how does it benefit them?
Your privacy policy should be placed on a seperate tab in your menu. How about creating an 'about us' tab introducing yourself and stating why the customer should buy from you.
Sorry not saying your website is bad, just a little tip I learnt during my studies.
Cheers and goodluck
