More Displays
We have just confirmed that Beenatree Milling will be at our show with a range of Coffee size slabs, wood turning blanks and furniture grade timber. Includes Red Cedar, Beech, Silky Oak and others. Might be a bargain or two they tell me as they want to clear out some items for the Christmas break.

Ingrid,
Is Northwood purely an internet business, or does it have a retail shop at that site?

Latest on Expo
The Expo is getting closer, and is the last "show" format display in Brisbane this year as far as I know. With over 15 displays and 12 running demonstrations on hand it is something not to miss. Special prices will be the normal on the day.
We have just confirmed that Aaron Perry will be demonstrating water sharpening systems. Also several new ranges of products not on our web site will be available at special pre-release prices including:
FREUD Saw Blades and selected router bits. Min 10% off RRP until Expo
TORMEK Water Sharpening Systems. 10% off RRP until Expo
Some beautiful German Quality Kirschen Carving chisels and wooden mallets. 25% off RRP
German Cabinet Scrapers known as the best available anywhere. 40% off RRP
German "Two Cherries" Firmer Chisels with that old fashioned quality feel and performance. 10% off RRP
America's Number 1 Claw hammer, the Vaughan with exclusive shock absorbing handles, acknowledged by experts as the best that money can buy. 25% off RRP
As I said these are not up on the web until after Timber & Tools Expo. However, they are in stock and on display in our showroom if you can get there, else call us on the phone for a quote or advice on these excellent additions to our range.
Due to the Bulk Buy we achieved for the show, and extra handling expenses with normal Internet orders, these prices will not remain after the Expo. What I am saying is the prices that go up on the web will not necessarily be the same as those we are currently offering.
We have already had over 50 pre-registrations so it is going to be a great day.
For those interstate we have set up special arrangemnets to participate on the day of the show in the special prices.
In fairness to those that do attend, I cannot offer the same deals. It would not be possible anyway, as we have additional costs handling mail/phone/email orders with extra packing and handling costs.
However, if you phone the office on the day of the show (18th November if I have forgotten to tell you) , we will quote the sale prices for that day and commit to a maximum handling charge of $5.00 plus shipping costs of course. Sorry, absolutely no rain checks. However, if products that were featured at the show are sold out we will keep the price if a firm order with payment is made on the day. And we hope this will help you justify spending that hard earned dollar in these difficult times. Not quite the same as being there and seeing the huge range of products on display, as well as attending numerous demonstrations and tutorials, but hopefully that will help our more remote customers.

Last chance for Huge savings at the Timber & Tools Expo - even if you cannot attend
This is just a very short reminder about our Timber & Tools EXPO. We have just uploaded a detailed demonstration schedule for those that need to plan their day.
You can download this schedule from the news sction on our web site front page or HERE and it does not require you to login at all.
I calculated there is over 170 minutes of demonstrations if you attended every session, so there is something for everyone.
What if "I Cannot get there but would love to take advantage of the bargains."
Because I don't know till Friday 17th November what the specials are, I cannot tell you now.
However, for those that cannot get to the Expo because of distance or prior arrangements we have put together this special offer.
If there is something we normally carry, and you know you will need it in the near future, just phone us on the Expo day (Saturday 18th November) we will provide the price and you can buy it at the Expo special price plus a $5.00 handling fee and shipping costs of course. Nearly every item we sell will be on sale for the Expo so trawl around our web site, check back on the new products we mentioned last issue and call us if you want Expo prices. Note: Not till Saturday, as prices are not decided untill Friday.
The following Brands not on the web site will be on special -
- Freud Router bits and Saw Blades - Full Range
- Tormek Water Sharpener systems - Including all accessories and attachments Your chance to get that attachment at super savings !
- Vaughan USA Made Hammers and Restorers Cats Claws No 1 in USA

- Aussie Made Vacuum Clamping System - Single and double sided plates all at special prices
And do not forget every item on the web site will be on special for one day only - but only for phone orders.
Get in early, we expect the phones to run hot and getting through might be difficult at times

Opening Times
Hi,
The showroom is open at 9:00am Saturday as usual, but the Timber and Tools Expo show opens at 10:00am to allow time for all the suppliers to get ready . . . it seems suppliers are not early risers . . .
