Sorry I didn't get to catch up Geoff. I tried hard but couldn't find anything that grabbed me so I came away empty handed. Usually there are a few guys selling some fixings (nuts and bolts etc) very cheap and I use the opportunity a couple of years ago to stock up on these.

Oh Well I hope you had a good roll up and the election didn't drag too many people away from the sale

    Hi Bob,
Good to see you and say g'day, we didn't get that great a turnout as it happened, I think there were a fair few other things going on on Saturday.
I was happy to say g'day also to pmcgee who brought his brace collection along for an outing, and very generously sold me his Chapman No 32, thanks Paul.

    Geoff.
Yeah I had to go meet a couple of guys mid-morning down at the tree loppers yard and then get back home and do a few jobs before SWMBO got home from riding. It's the first time in ages I have been on the freeway on a Saturday, why so much traffic? Where is everyone going? They obviously don't have a shed to play in?

    Hi Geoff
You got back safely from NZ, much extra luggage ? It was good to meet you and your wife at the Sydney Tool sale. If I can ever help you out on this side of the map don't hesitate to give me a call.

    Hi Graeme,

    Thanks for the offer.

Yes we survived NZ, unfortunately didn't get the chance to catch up with Vann or Seanz but Vann very generously posted three drill bits to my sisters address for me. These are the ones with the oversize tang as used in the Engineers Ratchet Brace. Other than that the only other rust I got in Kiwiland was a Gedge Auger.
It was good to see you and have a yarn over a cup of coffee at the TTTG sale.

It's a small world folks, we pulled up in the car park at the Brick Pit Stadium about an hour earlier than the starting time and who should pull up beside us but Graeme and his mate, we'd previously met Graeme at his stand at the Lithgow Iron Fest in April last year.

The only similarity, I guess, between the Sydney tool sale and this one in Perth was the ancientness of most of the attendees, both buyers and sellers.

    Geoff.
