The way I figure it, when I retire I'll be too busy.....just like half the members of this forum who are out there doing stuff rather than sitting doing nuttin"!!
Actually , looking at the above list, I'm not sure if you haven't mistaken quantity for quality when assessing the "top ten"! I reckon 80% of the stuff worth reading comes from 10 people not on this list, but I don't know how to fish out that stat!!
Out of Curiosity here are average the posts per day, but even those are a bit deceptive, for instance I was lurking intently for two years before actually logging on (dial up was pretty slow!). Others come for a bit then go....

ozwinner 4.88
Iain 1.43
John Saxton 1.38
bitingmidge 1.7 (seasonally adjusted - 5.01 for the last year!)
0.86 (but hey he had all that time away)
craigb 2.0
ubeaut 0.85 (but he's got two identities??)
journeyman 2.66
Shane Watson 0.77
It used to be easy to spot the wet days for the brickies, and it's pretty easy to spot the quiet days for those with computers on their desks!!
Cheers,
P

Now that I have, don't have the time to sit in front of the 'puter.
Well, I've got the same amount of time, but I now have better ways to spend it.

Hmmm....see my note above!!
I've always tried to stay out of the rep-point pillow fight, but for a true indication of reputation points (sorry to those near the top) divide the total value of points by number of posts!
Now we're getting somewhere!!
Cheers,
P (but thanks to you all for all the little green dots, privately I love 'em!!!)

O.K. I admit it, I post too much
However my job requires me to sit in front of a 'puter 8 hours a day so it's easy to keep a Ubeaut window open.
Plus I get a lot of enjoyment from interacting with the different characters on this board.
I also endorse Midge's comment re quality v quantity, but if members hardly ever post, what are the lurkers going to look at?
BTW Grunt, how do you know who has what rep points?

Maybe the lurkers are afraid of posting to a forum with 50 genuine lunatics!
