After a bit of a hunt around here he has posted [email protected] in 2011 as his email address (I wouldn't give it out if it wasn't already public) and it's turned up other results for a Travis on other forums but years earlier. Otherwise it seems like he's disappeared off the face of the earth/internet.

I do have a mobile number for him but I'm extremely reluctant to give it out for privacy reasons until I can see it published publicly (no personal offence intended). If you can't get onto him with the email, can you say what it is you want to contact him about and I might be able to give him a call and let him know to at least try and find you here.

He only did the saw doctoring on the side. When I last talked to him a couple of years ago it sounded like he was a demo/sales rep. for sawing gear and traveled around a lot. I've sent chains to him once before but never seen him in person and was going to meet up with him when he was visiting in town but we never got it to happen so he probably won't remember me.

    Spot on RedShirtGuy.

Travis did a great job of sharpening some saws for me a couple of years ago.

Red Shirt Guy, I have been unsuccessful in contacting him. If you still have his number can you give him a call and see if he is OK and willing to have his contact details passed on . Thanks

Just got off the phone to him and he's said it's ok to pass on his number, so I'll shoot it to you in a PM.

It sounds like he's a very busy boy these days...bounding off Australia wide with work and ploughing through the fire wood.

Default yes I am still alive

and yes I do remember ya Redshirt guy. Life in general has been keeping me very busy. I have just cleared a few pms so there should be space there now.
I am told that sharpening handsaws is a dying art.... this must mean I am an artisan.

Get your handsaws sharpened properly to the highest possible standard, the only way they should be done, BY HAND, BY ME!!! I only accept perfection in any saw I sharpen.
