As Al indicated some coppers were killed by Ned Kelly and his gang up that way at Stringybark Creek about 10Kms from Tolmie.

Dan will be welcomed with open arms rather than loaded arms.

I know it can get cold up there so here's an opportunity for me to lose a bit of weight and keep warm chopping up my mistakes for firewood.

My planes and other hand tools will still be used extensively but as we all know the public are more interested in price than anything else so the machines will be used to break down and dimension the timber a bit quicker.

Scooter, bring the kids when you come they will be welcome.

We have sell our place yet but everything is on track.

About 850M about sea level, our place on the tablelands is 865M about sea level & it is cold considering we live in the tropics.... It's gonna be VERY cold there Rob.

When you visit we will compare notes. It was a bit cold when I visited your home and shed in the tablelands - made me homesick

I think Rob is just looking for more excuses to snuggle up to cousin Meg.

We sold our house at auction on Saturday got a great price well over the offer we declined last week. Thirty day settlement.

Now I am about to tell my boss I want to be out of here in 3 weeks time. Perhaps he will take it the right way, perhaps he won’t  but I’ll need a week to pack up and move the 200 Km.

It looks like I might be able to afford the Felder electron burners rather than the Ozita.
