Default New Date for Woodwork Radio Doco - 9 Feb @ 1pm

I now have a broadcast date which is less than 3 three away. It's Sunday, 9th February at 1pm on Radio National during the Hindsight program. For the correct radio frequency in your area please go to http://www.abc.net.au/radionational/frequency/.

I've started a Facebook event that will have exclusive photos and other images collected during the making of the radio documentary. The link is below https://www.facebook.com/events/585740818128321/?ref_dashboard_filter=upcoming&source=1. I thought your member might be interested in this.

Also, Radio National is thinking about asking listeners to leave their own memories connected to my grandfather and his books via the Hindsight webpage. I'll notify you if that opportunity is available.

I received over 40 emails from all over Australia about the impact of my grandfather's textbook. My parents and I traveled 2766 kilometres for three weeks, across three states and interviewed well over 25 people for this project. The end result is a 20 minute radio documentary. It has been a hard and at times a heartbreaking process to decide what to include. Being a grand daughter and documentary maker has been harder than I originally thought. So many great interviews have hit the cutting room floor.

    Kindly,
    Kate Walton

Hi Kate, congratulations on putting this together, I was at my friends place on the week end and he still references your grandfathers book on nearly every project he works on. You have done your grandfather proud.

Really looking forward to the documentary.

    Regards,

    Frank.
